Autogiography, 1896-1913.

Holograph manuscript in the handwriting of Inez Knight Allen believed to have been dictated by Jesse Knight, her father. This autobiography includes anecdotes about the courtship and marriage of Jesse's parents, Newel Knight and Lydia Goldthwait Bailey in 1833; their journey to Utah, and the death of Newel Knight enroute; and Jesse's experiences when he worked as a farmhand in Montana. Jesse married Amanda McEwan and settled on a farm in Provo, Utah.
